Let the Summer begin!!

Abigail is officially ready for summer! Mom broke out her summer outfits (even tho they are still a tad bit too big!). By the time Labor Day rolls around I think she will fit in them just fine!

We are weighing in this week at over 9 lbs!! About 9.2 actually. Mom couldn't be more thrilled. We have almost doubled our weight in just a little over 2 months! Everyone continues to ask if Abigail ever cries because it is a rare occurence. Mom and Dad continue to be thrilled and Mom thinks that a happy first baby is God's gift to encourage you to have a second! We can only hope that our next baby is just as happy but we have a while until we will find that out!

As I mentioned Abigails summer wardrobe has been released so we will get to see all the fun and pretty outfits. She has so many I don't know if we will get to see them all. She really needs a day on the red carpet to show off her style!

Abby continues to come with mom to work on Fridays. So far so good. She does fairly well and everyone loves to see her.

Our newest thing this week....a cold. I think Daddy gave it to her. So mornings are quite upsetting with lots of coughing and sneezing and the ever so fun nose cleaning! She tolerates it as best as she can. Hopefully she will be on the mend soon!

This weekend was a record in the smiles department. We made a trip to the lake and Abigail had a fantastic time. She got to meet lots of new people and she was the hit of the weekend. Mom and dad did a great job at packing and bringing everything they could possibly need for Abby and the dog.....however we forgot one key item...our very own bag of clothes! Oops! Thankfully we did come with toiletries and we arrived Saturday and left Sunday morning so we survived! Guess mom needs to start a list for any future trips!

Abby has been showing off her leg strength lately. She prefers to be sitting up or standing up and looking at what's going on around her. Abigail absolutely loves her bumbo and dad loves to help her look very relaxed sitting there as you will see in some of the pictures. Abby has also been doing quite a bit of "talking" lately. Lots of cooing and gooing and other adorable baby noises!
