Summer has begun!

10.35 lbs!!! Can we believe we have finally reached double digits! I must say I am excited. Daddy even commented the other day while carrying Abby in her car seat that she was getting heavier!

This past week was so busy I don't even remember much of what we did. I was also slightly delinquent in taking pictures.

This weekend daddy went to Uncle Steve's bachelor party so he was gone for some of the weekend. Mom and Abby survived without him for the most part. Abby was having a rough day on Saturday but she managed to hold it together for Aunt Terri's party. When we got home Jack was pleased to see us and he knew that dad was gone so he stood guard over Abby any time mom left the room. It was pretty cute. He can still be a bit nervous around her but you can tell he actaully likes her.

Abby's favorite thing to do right now is get anything she possibly can in her mouth. Clothes, fist, arm you name it and thats where it goes. Uncle Robby and Ricky keep telling her not to pull up her shirt because its not very lady like. Abby isn't quite listening just yet.

Daddy had his first Father's Day. We actaully went to a movie....with Abby! She did very well and slept about 90% of the time. Mom had to get up and walk with her for the last few minutes of the movie but really she did excellent. I think we will be pushing our luck if we try that again! Dad is getting to order a freezer for his Father's Day gift so he can keep making his beer and build a bar.

This week Abby has really started to lift her head up much more when on her stomach. She is working on her "push ups" and doing a fantastic job. Tummy time is still not our favorite thing but she is handling it very well. If her head was just a bit more porportionate to the rest of her body she would be on the move for sure. She loves to push off on things with her feet and her legs are constantly going. When she sits in one of her many seats her feet are moving moving moving. I keep asking her if she's trying out for the marching band because she never stops!

Abby and Mommy are still going to Gymboree class. Abby was the super star last week. Each of the other babies were not too pleased to be there and cried for a good part of class. Abby is perfectly content and happy during class. Let's hope she keeps it up!

Abby loves to stand up these days. Sitting is okay but standing seems to be a favorite.

Abby & Daddy on Father's Day
Abby loves to play on her activity mat. Keeps her entertained for quite a while.

Daddy and his princess!

Jack standing guard.
Abby doesn't look terribly pleased with mommy taking her picture.

Abby tends to be a morning sleeper so after she gets dressed
she ususally dozes back off pretty quickly.

Hopefully nothing bad happens at gramma's!
