3 Months Old!

I can't be 3 months old Daddy....really!!?!?!

Can you believe we have made it 3 months already?!! I certainly can't! Our little girl is growing up so fast!

It has been extremely hot this past week and so Abby has gotten to wear many of her fun summer outfits! Gramma says her office is too cold for Abby to be wearing all her fun clothes so I guess we will get a sweater for Abby to wear at Gramma's house.

Abby continues to show signs of teething. The drool is increasing for sure. Mom has tried giving her a teething ring but it's hard when she can't quite grasp the ring by herself yet. Sadly, we continue to miss our 6-7 hour stretches of sleep. Its about 4 now but one day we will get back to those 7 hours!

Abigail weighs about 9 lb 13.5 oz. We are getting so close to double digits!! Now if only we would work on getting a little belly or even a bigger butt and she might be able to keep some of her pants up!

Abby came to work with mom several mornings this week for a short while so gramma could run some errands and take the sick bubba to the doctor. Funny story about that bubba...... Mom picked up Abby and went home and called Ricky to come get her out of the car. Ricky made it to the car so mom went inside. A few minutes later mom came back downstairs to check in with Ricky before she ran another quick errand (ricky was going to watch her while she was gone) and found Ricky sweating and out of breath. He told her that she needed to wait a minute while he sat down to rest before she could leave. Mom beginning to wonder what had happened goes to make sure Abby is okay and finds that Ricky was unable to get the carseat detached from the base in the car and so he had to figure out how to unhook the whole thing and carry it all inside together! We all got a laugh out of this one for sure. There were several things that Uncle Ricky could have done....take Abby out of her carseat.....start the car and sit and wait until mom came back down so they didn't melt outside but he chose the hard road. We are thankful tho that he didn't think he could leave her in the car!

Abby continues to work on her core muscles! She loves sitting up and trying to pull herself up. If only her weight was a little more balance with the size of her head I think she would be on the move by now but her head is just a tad too big for her body at the moment!

I think Jack has made a transition this week. He is more accepting of her being in his space and he doesn't run quite as fast when mom or dad bring her closer to him.

Enjoy some of our pictures from this week! I am trying to get pictures of every outfit. I really do think I need to come up with a red carpet!

My beautiful little Angel
We had to get a picture of Abby and her Jack outfit with Jack of course. I was actually able to get him to sit this close to her without much fighting at all.
Then sometimes he loves her so much that he gets very close and her eyes get really big!
Isn't she so cute!
The finger continues to be a problem. I can tell you she is going to be just like her mother!
She has started enjoying her play mat quite a bit more this week. She can reach the rings and if she tries hard she can grab them!
Jack loves her but Jack does not love her when she is on his level. I'm not sure how he is going to handle crawling.

Sometimes I think she is looking at me going..."really mom, don't we have enough pictures already!"
Abby is loving to stand up. She has great strength in her legs for such a little lady. And very cute outfits I might add!! :-)
Abby loves playing with daddy in the evenings. She still isn't quite sure how she feels about his beard.

The smile that can light up a room and melt your heart!

She was telling daddy something really really important here!
Daddy loves to sit her up leaning against the couch and well as you can see that doesn't last terribly long. One may also notice she is yet again flipping us off. I think she's trying to send dad a message but he's just not getting it.
More playing with our floor mat. She gets really big eyes when she is able to reach out and grab something! Like ooohh..what did I just do!
